My Take on Iron Maiden’s ‘Burning Ambition’
Iron Maiden Burning Ambition Running time: 106 mins Director: Malcolm Venville I would have never predicted that a film on Iron Maiden would be screened in movie theaters internationally, just as I would have never guessed that the English heavy metal band would be inducted into the 2026 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I have lots of great photos from that weekend. I stayed at a Super 8 Motel, slept very little, and ate […]

G3 Reunion: Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Eric Johnson – Orpheum Theatre – February 10, 2024
G3, in guitarist Joe Satriani’s words, is a celebration of the electric guitar. For rock guitar heads—and especially those who appreciate instrumental players who shred—G3 is an exciting event.
