Maiden Los Angeles

In the early 80s I heard Iron Maiden’s Piece of Mind album at a friend’s house and that was my gateway into the New Wave of British Heavy Metal.

Being able to photograph their shows and interview a few of the members of the band has been an honor. Here are a few photos I took from the band’s L.A. stop on the Flight 666 Tour in 2008 at the Fabulous Forum. I’ve included a video I found on YouTube that captures the essence of what that night was like. Up the Irons!
